Find answers to common questions, troubleshooting guides, and contact information below. Getting Started Adding Your First Playlist 1. Tap the playlist icon in the top right corner 2. Tap "Add Playlist" 3. Choose one of two options: Add by URL: Paste your M3U/M3U8 playlist URL Import File: Select a playlist file from your device 4. Give your playlist a name 5. Tap "Save" 6. Wait for channels to load 7. Start streaming! Supported Formats M3U: Standard IPTV playlist format M3U8: HLS streaming playlist format XSPF: XML Shareable Playlist Format Frequently Asked Questions General Questions Q: Is the app free? A: Yes! LiveStream Player Pro is completely free, supported by non intrusive advertisements. Q: Do I need an account? A: No account required. Just add your playlist and start watching. Q: Where does the content come from? A: You provide your own M3U/M3U8 playlists. We are a player only. We don't host or provide any content. Q: Can I use multiple playlists? A: Yes! Add as many playlists as you want and switch between them easily. Q: Does it work offline? A: No, streaming requires an internet connection. The app needs to fetch live streams from your playlist sources. Playlist Questions Q: My playlist won't load. What's wrong? A: Check the following: URL is correct and active Internet connection is stable Playlist format is M3U, M3U8, or XSPF Playlist source is not blocked or down Q: How do I update my playlist? A: Go to Settings > Playlists > Tap your playlist > Pull down to refresh Q: Can I edit channel names? A: Currently, channel names come from your playlist source and cannot be edited within the app. Q: How do I delete a playlist? A: Settings > Playlists > Swipe left on the playlist > Delete Playback Questions Q: Video won't play or keeps buffering A: Try these steps: Check your internet connection (WiFi recommended) Ensure the channel source is working Try a different channel to test Close and reopen the app Restart your device Q: No sound during playback A: Check: Device volume is up Silent mode is off Try other channels Check if audio works in other apps Q: Video quality is poor A: Video quality depends on: Your internet speed Source quality from playlist The app supports adaptive streaming when available Q: Can I use Picture in Picture? A: Yes! PiP is supported on compatible devices. Enable in Settings > Playback > Picture in Picture. Profile and Parental Control Questions Q: How do I create profiles? A: Tap your profile icon (top left) > Create New Profile > Set name and preferences Q: How do parental controls work? A: Go to Settings > Parental Controls Enable parental controls Set a 4 digit PIN Choose content restrictions Select blocked categories Enable biometric unlock (optional) Q: I forgot my PIN. What do I do? A: Currently, there's no PIN recovery. You'll need to: Settings > Reset App (this clears all data) Or delete and reinstall the app Q: Can I use Face ID/Touch ID? A: Yes! Enable in Settings > Parental Controls > Biometric Unlock Ad Related Questions Q: Can I remove ads? A: The app is ad supported to keep it free. Ads are placed to minimize disruption to your viewing. Q: Why do I see ads after watching videos? A: Interstitial ads appear after every 5 video views. This helps support app development. Q: Ads aren't loading A: This is normal. Ad availability varies by region and time. The app works fine without ads loading. Troubleshooting App Crashes or Freezes Solutions: 1. Force close the app 2. Restart your device 3. Update to the latest iOS version 4. Update to the latest app version 5. Free up device storage (need at least 1GB free) 6. Reset app data: Settings > Reset App Channels Not Loading Check: Internet connection is stable Playlist URL is correct Playlist format is supported (M3U/M3U8/XSPF) Source server is online Try another playlist to test app functionality Steps: 1. Delete and re add the playlist 2. Test with a different playlist source 3. Check if playlist works in other apps 4. Contact your playlist provider Search Not Working Solutions: Type at least 2 characters Check if channels are loaded Try clearing search and typing again Restart the app Favorites Not Saving Solutions: Ensure you have storage space Check if the app has necessary permissions Try adding favorites to different channels Reset app if issue persists iPad Display Issues Solutions: App is optimized for iPad in latest version Update to latest app version Restart iPad Check if issue occurs in portrait and landscape Feature Guides Using Favorites Add to Favorites: Swipe left on any channel > Tap star icon Or tap channel > Tap star in player View Favorites: Go to "Favorites" tab at bottom Quick access to your most watched channels Remove from Favorites: Favorites tab > Swipe left > Remove Using Search 1. Tap the search bar at top of Home screen 2. Type channel name, category, or keywords 3. Results appear instantly 4.
