The app uses your device’s GPS to measure real-time speed and distance. It combines both GPS speed and calculated time-distance metrics for better accuracy.
Can I use the app without internet?
Yes. Speed Meter Pro works fully offline using GPS. However, currency rates and updates require an internet connection.
How do I configure taxi fare rates?
Go to Settings > Taxi Configuration to enter your custom first kilometer and additional kilometer rates.
How do I switch between km/h and mph?
In Settings, you can toggle between km/h and mph under “Speed Units.”
Is my location data stored or shared?
No. The app processes all location data locally on your device and does not transmit it to external servers. You can read our full Privacy Policy.
